I was so excited to hear that a former President was in our state talking about our industry, but other than that I am not sure what they were discussing. Hopefully LOWER PREMIUMS and HIGHER COMMISSIONS for us and less money for the insurance companies!!

COLORADO SPRINGS — Former President George W. Bush has made an appearance in Colorado, speaking to an insurance industry group in Colorado Springs.
Bush’s spokesman, David Sherzer, says Bush spoke this morning to the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers at the luxury Broadmoor hotel.
The event was closed to the public, and Sherzer says he doesn’t know what Bush’s topic was.
Sherzer says Bush will have about 70 speaking engagements in the U.S. and abroad this year, many of them unpublicized. He declined to say what type of fee Bush commands.
Vice President Dick Cheney was scheduled to speak to the insurance group in Colorado Monday night. Neither Cheney’s spokesman nor officials with the insurance group immediately returned calls today.
